You are a passionate, creative, and committed Social Worker looking to be part of a service dedicated to achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people. You have confidence in planning, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating interventions and plans to ensure that great outcomes are achieved for the children and young people in your care. You are skilled in developing and maintaining working relationships with children, young people, and their support networks.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker in Central Bedfordshire's Corporate Parenting Service, you will be responsible for ensuring permanence planning for Children in Care. You will work collaboratively using relationship-based practices to build on the strengths of children, families, and their natural networks. Your work will include meaningful engagement with children and young people, helping them to achieve their aspirations and succeed in adulthood. You will be supported by caring managers and senior leaders, and given access to a wide range of training and development opportunities.
