You are an experienced professional with significant mediation and Tribunal experience within a SEND Team. You possess strong capabilities in case preparation and evidence gathering, and are equipped to handle senior-level casework. You are adept at managing statutory education, health, and care plan assessments and coordinating a multi-agency approach to ensure quality and compliance with legal frameworks.
What the Job Involves
The role involves representing the Local Authority at mediation and tribunal SENDIST hearings, managing assessments for Pre 16 children with SEND, leading a Locality SEND team, and ensuring compliance with performance targets. You will also oversee partnerships with various stakeholders, address complaints, and manage complex cases. Furthermore, you will contribute to school improvements and provide specialist guidance on special needs developments.
