What the Job Involves
The role involves providing crucial support to the Head of Governance. Responsibilities include project management in various areas such as reviewing Members' Enquiries, planning for the next administration, and commissioning the replacement of the Town Hall Audio Visual System. You’ll engage in governance arrangements for council companies, trusts, and charities, and complete specific project tasks like performing best practice reviews, drafting policy documents or reports, progressing workstreams, and preparing training materials. Additionally, you will assist in drafting the Annual Governance Statement.
