What the Job Involves
You will join Westminster City Council's Child Protection and Complex Children in Need (CIN) Team in a frontline role that involves supporting children, young people, and families experiencing various safeguarding issues, such as extra-familial harm and child sexual exploitation. Your responsibilities will include leading Child Protection work, conducting Section 47 enquiries, managing court proceedings, and producing high-quality care plans. Furthermore, you will actively participate in CP conferences, CIN meetings, and multi-agency safeguarding activities. Your work will involve direct engagement with families, maintaining case records, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with partner agencies to deliver focused interventions.

- Strong and confident risk assessment abilities
- Excellent report writing skills for court
- Well-organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Proficient in Mosaic or able to learn quickly
- Experience within Child Protection and court work
