Job Description: Mail, Print and Records Management Officer

What the Job Involves

Your role will include supporting day-to-day print, mail, and records management functions, operating digital print machinery, and liaising with clients to ensure effective service delivery. You will ensure quality assurance of print outputs, support the quote process, manage records storage and organization, handle document collection and delivery, and maintain equipment. Additional responsibilities include sorting incoming mail, ensuring the secure shredding of confidential documents, and adhering to health and safety protocols. You will also support the Council's initiatives in climate change and safeguarding responsibilities.

Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office Programs (Excel, Word)
  • Full driver’s license
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Welsh language skills (desirable)
  • Tactful, polite, and respectful communication
  • Understanding of data protection principles
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt priorities as needed
  • Commitment to health and safety compliance
