You hold a food hygiene qualification relevant to your role and are aware of safeguarding and health & safety regulations. You adhere to high standards of personal hygiene and present yourself professionally.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves basic preparation of food and beverages, simple cooking, and serving meals while adhering to portion control. You will handle general kitchen and dining duties, including washing up and cleaning. You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, as well as operating a computerized meal register. You will take necessary steps for accident and hazard prevention and report any equipment defects immediately.
The job requires working short hours, typically 2.5 to 3 hours per day, with a non-paid break. You should carry your photo ID and be enhanced DBS checked. You must ensure your timesheet is signed before finishing work.
