Who You Are
You are an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities. You possess a minimum of 5 GCSE passes and display excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities. You are flexible, adaptable, and motivated by a passion for creating enriching play opportunities for children. A background in Playwork or a First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
What the Job Involves
As a Playscheme Playworker, you will contribute to the organization and delivery of engaging play activities in a safe and stimulating environment. You will assist in planning and facilitating various play opportunities, ensuring that the individual care needs of children are met. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining equipment, communicating effectively with children and parents, administering basic First Aid, and actively participating in team briefings. You will also uphold health and safety standards and promote equal opportunities for all participants.

- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Basic First Aid knowledge
- Full clean driving license (for outreach sites)
