Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced occupational therapist with a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration. You have experience working in adult social work or adult health environments and are familiar with safeguarding policies and procedures. You are knowledgeable about the Care Act 2014 and the national agenda for health and social care.

What the Job Involves

This role involves providing a range of Occupational Therapy interventions to adults and children, enabling them to maintain independence in their daily lives. You will assess clients with disabilities, arrange for necessary equipment and adaptations, undertake risk assessments, and develop management plans. Your responsibilities include involving service users and carers in support plans, demonstrating assistive technologies, and keeping accurate case records. You'll supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals, supporting the Reablement service as needed and engaging in continuous personal development.
