The Adults MASH team at Waltham Forest is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Social Worker. You are a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced, front-door setting and is committed to promoting the wellbeing and independence of residents. You are a qualified Social Worker with relevant registration, motivated and effective in your practice, with experience in a multi-agency team environment.

What the Job Involves

In this role, you will:

• Work in a strength-based and person-centred manner to support adults' wellbeing and independence.
• Demonstrate understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding protocols.
• Analyse information, assess and manage risk according to relevant legislation.
• Complete Section 42(1) enquiries to ensure residents' safety and protection.
• Screen safeguarding referrals and determine eligibility for further enquiries.
• Establish effective collaborations with external agencies and partners.
• Maintain high standards of communication and documentation.
• Engage in regular supervision and ongoing training opportunities.

Skills
