Who You Are
A professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial or residential property transactions. You possess strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities. You are highly numerate and proficient in Windows and Excel. A RICS qualification is preferred, but candidates with relevant residential sales or lettings experience will also be considered.
What the Job Involves
As an Investment Surveyor with Westminster City Council's Temporary Accommodation Acquisitions Team, your primary role will be to acquire and lease private sector residential properties for use as temporary housing. You will source suitable stock, negotiate acquisition and lease terms, oversee pre-purchase due diligence, prepare internal reports in line with governance requirements, and conduct site inspections as part of the acquisition process.
