What the job involves
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and compliance of residential buildings within the Council's housing portfolio. Your duties include conducting essential safety checks on fire equipment such as communal fire doors, smoke alarms, CO alarms, and emergency lighting. You will also perform safety checks on water systems when scheduling allows. This involves adhering to a rigorous inspection regime and engaging proactively with customers and stakeholders to maintain high standards of safety and service.
