We are seeking an experienced SEND Consultant who is highly independent, with substantial local authority and school-based SEND experience. You are known for your strong analytical, data, and reporting skills, and are adept at delivering complex work independently.

What the Job Involves

Your role involves leading the rigorous testing of a proposed financial banding framework and designing a transparent cost library for specialist provisions. You will ensure decisions are fair, evidence-based, and financially accurate. You will align your work with upcoming national SEND reforms, facilitating a smooth transition and presenting findings to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting systematic testing of the SEND banding framework using case examples and scenario modelling.
• Designing an evidence-based cost library supporting financial banding decisions.
• Aligning the framework with national SEND reforms and the Schools White Paper.
• Analyzing data, producing reports, and modeling financial impacts for senior leaders and schools.
• Engaging with stakeholders to gather insight and test proposals.
