What the Job Involves
This emergency placement requires working with a 10-year-old male in the Knaresborough area, attending to his developmental delay and hearing issues. You will be responsible for ensuring his safe travel to and from school, preparing and cooking meals, and conducting sleep shifts. The goal is to provide individualized support, using simple and clear language to communicate. Creating a safe, supportive environment where the child feels valued and encouraging positive interactions are integral to this role.
