What the Job Involves
As an Interim Health & Safety Lead at Westminster City Council, you will provide senior-level capacity during a period of transition over a 3–6 month contract. Your focus will be on stabilizing current operations and progressing Health & Safety improvements, setting up frameworks, and ensuring an effective handover for permanent staff. You will review and update policies, engage with Directorates, and design practical, deliverable frameworks. Key priority areas include Health & Safety standards and systems, engagement and communications, training and capability design, and leadership handover. This assignment is strategic and high-impact, emphasizing structure and organizational readiness.
