You are a dedicated and qualified social worker passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. You are adept at managing complex caseloads within a framework of supervision and are committed to working in compliance with legal, organisational, and multi-agency requirements. You are confident in contributing to the improvement of services and in mentoring less experienced team members, displaying exemplary conduct in challenging situations.
What the Job Involves
Your role will require you to manage protected caseloads, effectively utilise resources, carry out assessments, and develop care plans aimed at promoting the welfare of children and families. You will work within statutory and organisational policies while maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and partner agencies. You will also be expected to participate in developmental activities to improve service delivery and resource use, undertake social work interventions to alleviate the need for care or accommodation, and produce high-standard reports and legal documents as needed.
