Who You Are

In this role, you are a vital front-facing figure responsible for delivering comprehensive tenancy-neutral services to all residents within the neighborhood. You excel at managing the area to a high standard, providing exceptional leasehold and tenancy management services, maximizing income from rents and service charges, and ensuring residents remain at the center of all operations.

What the Job Involves

This position requires engaging with and involving residents in their neighborhood's management through regular estate inspections. You will monitor cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of blocks and estates, collaborating with relevant officers and sections. Your role includes negotiating with residents and partner agencies to develop and implement estate action plans that cater to local neighborhood needs. You work with area-based Tenant and Resident Associations or Tenant groups, attend and facilitate Tenant Meetings responsively, and provide excellent services for new tenants. Additionally, you support and sustain tenancies, prevent homelessness, and handle all aspects of tenancy and lease management with sensitivity and effectiveness. This includes providing advice on various Council services, addressing anti-social behavior, managing portfolios involving Domestic Abuse, Safeguarding, and Hoarding cases, and taking legal actions when necessary.
