What the job involves
As a Benefit Assessment Officer in the Customer Services team, you will conduct prompt and accurate assessments of claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support. Your responsibilities include evaluating new claims, changes in circumstances, and overpayments, plus handling customer inquiries. You will work with IT systems and liaise with internal and external parties to resolve claim issues. Adopting a specialism and participating in talent development programs form part of your role to enhance your personal growth and office flexibility.

- Good standard of education with GCSE in English language
- Experience with Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support regulations
