Who You Are

You are a dedicated social worker committed to the protection and welfare of children. You hold a Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification and are registered with SWE. Your experience spans across working within social care settings, with a sound understanding of the Children Act 1989 & 2004, and recent social work developments. You value professional development and are skilled in collaborating with various agencies to enhance service provision.

What the job involves

This role requires engaging closely with children, families, and partner agencies to deliver services that safeguard children and address their needs. You will manage caseloads, conduct risk assessments, and facilitate care planning, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Participation in training and knowledge sharing is essential, alongside maintaining precise records and promoting active service user involvement in service planning and delivery. Office duty rotation is expected, with daily commitment to promoting welfare and supporting those at risk of harm.
