About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Council’s people strategy and supporting senior leaders across complex services. You’ll act as a strategic advisor, lead organisational change initiatives, champion culture and engagement, and use data‑driven insight to shape decisions. This is a role for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on how services are designed, delivered, and experienced.

What You’ll Bring
To be successful, you’ll need:
  • CIPD Chartered Membership (or equivalent)
  • Broad, in‑depth HR experience across complex or unionised environments
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practice
  • Experience leading organisational change, workforce planning or transformation
  • Confidence working with trade unions and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across services
  • A commitment to equality, inclusion, and values‑driven leadership
