What the Job Involves
As a Neighbourhood Officer, you provide a frontline, trusted service, assisting residents through changes in their housing situations and addressing community issues. Your role involves assessing residents' needs, identifying patterns in demand, collaborating with internal and external services, and influencing service changes. You work within neighbourhoods, fostering partnerships, promoting restorative practices, and leading in developing solutions for residents. You are expected to participate in meetings and events, sometimes outside regular working hours, to ensure effective service delivery.
