Who You Are

You are an experienced professional with a solid background in children’s social care or a similar environment. You possess strong administrative skills and extensive experience with MS Office and office systems. You have a polite and efficient manner, even under pressure, and prioritize confidentiality and sensitivity in your work.

What the Job Involves

The role involves supporting Children’s Social Care by undertaking a range of administrative tasks to ensure the effective delivery of services. You will manage document preparation, collate and present data, and assist in specific projects. You'll be responsible for organizing meetings, handling inquiries, and liaising with partner organizations, all while maintaining high standards of customer care and adhering to council values.

Skills

  • Experience in social care administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information
  • Navigating complex projects and collaborative tasks
  • Qualification to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
