Social Worker (HAY BD B)

We are seeking an agency worker to join our team of experienced and developing social workers in Bassetlaw Family Support and Safeguarding Team (FSST). Our Team covers referrals from the point of initial Child and Family Assessment through to Initial Court proceedings. We support families with CIN and CP planning as well as the initial looked after processes. The post requires you to have experience working in a CP team, with knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding processes, CP and Court Work, including Pre-Proceedings / PLO. We work across a large rural area and predominantly work with families experiencing domestic abuse, neglect, mental health issues and substance misuse. We have a strong multi-agency working relationship and benefit from in-house Women's Aid and CGL (Change, Grow, Live) colleagues. The post is 8:30 - 5pm Mon-Thurs, 8:30-4:30 on Friday.
