Your ability to interact with residents and address their needs, while upholding safety and tenancy guidelines, is crucial to your role.
What the job involves
- Carry out various grounds maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, pruning, and mowing.
- Operate a range of machines including mowers and brush cutters, and apply fertilizers and pesticides.
- Plan and execute small-scale landscaping projects to improve communal grounds.
- Maintain seasonal upkeep by removing leaves, moss, and snow, and applying salt/grit as needed.
- Respond to vandalism and report incidents, assisting residents and colleagues as needed.
- Monitor communal areas for repairs or breaches of tenancy agreements and report accordingly.
- Supervise and coach apprentices/trainees and cover duties for colleagues when required.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and supporting vulnerable customers.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation, utilizing provided safety equipment.
Skills
