What the job involves

• Carry out various grounds maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, pruning, and mowing.
• Operate a range of machines including mowers and brush cutters, and apply fertilizers and pesticides.
• Plan and execute small-scale landscaping projects to improve communal grounds.
• Maintain seasonal upkeep by removing leaves, moss, and snow, and applying salt/grit as needed.
• Respond to vandalism and report incidents, assisting residents and colleagues as needed.
• Monitor communal areas for repairs or breaches of tenancy agreements and report accordingly.
• Supervise and coach apprentices/trainees and cover duties for colleagues when required.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and supporting vulnerable customers.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation, utilizing provided safety equipment.
