What the Job Involves
As a Service Manager, you will ensure the Council fulfills its statutory duties, leading improvements to achieve the best outcomes for service users with a focus on safeguarding. The role involves providing leadership and expert advice to teams to deliver services safely and effectively, applying early help and preventative interventions. You will manage budgets, identify opportunities for operational improvements, and lead projects and changes. Oversight of service delivery quality, data analysis for demand and trend understanding, and fostering a culture of learning and improvement are key responsibilities.
