What the Job Involves
This role involves maintaining grounds and public spaces by undertaking activities like grass cutting, grave digging, litter picking, and responding to fly-tipping incidents. You will work with various equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your work will support street services, sometimes requiring you to assist in waste collection during staff shortages or emergencies. Flexibility with working hours, including some weekends, bank holidays, and emergency responses, is crucial.
