You are comfortable working in public areas and have a professional demeanor. A team player with a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and transport tools and crew as needed.
What the Job Involves
The role involves the maintenance and tidying of lawns and gardens to ensure they are attractive and healthy. This includes mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, pruning, and planting. You will maintain the visual appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces within the public environment of a crematorium. Transporting tools and crew to different sites when required is part of the job responsibility, and work is conducted Monday through Friday. This is an ongoing temporary role, and working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.30-15.30 and Friday 07.30-15.00.
Skills
- Grounds maintenance experience
- Mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, pruning, planting
- Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
- Towing Licence (advantageous)
- DBS check preferred
- Ability to work in public areas
- Transport tools and crew
- Onsite interview and driver assessment
