Who You Are
We are seeking an agency worker to join our team of experienced and developing social workers in Bassetlaw Family Support and Safeguarding Team (FSST). You should have experience working in a Child Protection (CP) team and possess knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes, CP and court work, including Pre-Proceedings / PLO. You are passionate about working with families, especially those experiencing domestic abuse, neglect, mental health issues, and substance misuse.
What the Job Involves
Your role includes managing referrals from the point of initial Child and Family Assessment through to initial court proceedings, supporting families with Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) planning as well as the initial looked after processes. You will work across a large rural area and have the opportunity to collaborate with in-house Women's Aid and CGL (Change, Grow, Live) colleagues. The position is full-time, with office hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Fridays. Please note the office address is now Retford Education Centre, Old Hall Drive, Retford, Notts, DE22 7EA. The pay rate is £36 per hour.
Skills
