You are an experienced social worker with a strong background in family safeguarding. You thrive in a POD structure, working collaboratively with a team of 5 Social Workers and 1 Manager to ensure effective management and support. You have a keen understanding of risk complexities and are adept at documenting and analyzing your interventions with children and families.
What the Job Involves
This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, including parenting evaluations, to develop outcome-focused care plans. You will be responsible for managing both private and public court proceedings within required timelines to secure permanency plans for children, such as adoptions. The position offers a weekly travel and accommodation allowance for workers residing more than 50 miles from Swindon.
