Who You Are
You are a dedicated and responsible Grounds Maintenance Operative with a passion for maintaining and improving outdoor areas. Based around the Birmingham area, you have a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations. You possess a trailer licence and are capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
What the Job Involves
In this role, you will carry out a variety of tasks essential for grounds maintenance. Your responsibilities will include grass cutting, weeding, deadheading, hoeing, planting, pruning, and the removal of leaves and moss. Additional duties include snow clearance as well as cutting and watering communal beds, ensuring all activities adhere to current regulations and safety standards. You will complete digital work orders and paperwork on time and up to standard. The role requires you to manage fleet vehicles lawfully and safely, following organisational transport policies, and to operate machinery and tools safely as per guidelines.
