Social Work Assistant (Grade 6)

Who You Are

Cardiff Children’s Services is seeking dedicated social work assistants to join our teams working with children. We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive difference, possess relevant qualifications or experience in youth services, speech and language, occupational therapy, counselling, or delivering CBT/DBT skills.

What the Job Involves

You will become part of an established and supportive team and work closely with the Principal Social Worker (PSW) and Team Manager. Your responsibilities will include assisting in service delivery and managing a small caseload when necessary for your specific team.

Skills

• Relevant qualifications or experience in youth services
• Expertise in speech and language
• Understanding of occupational therapy
• Counselling skills
• Experience in delivering CBT/DBT skills
