You are a dedicated and compassionate professional, committed to safeguarding the property and financial affairs of vulnerable adults under the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection. As a reliable and ethical individual, you adhere to legal directives and standards while working collaboratively with various stakeholders to act in the best interests of your clients.
What the Job Involves
The role involves acting under the authority of a Court Appointed Deputy to enforce and comply with Court Orders. You will liaise effectively with courts, social workers, various government bodies, financial institutions, and family members to protect client interests. You will represent the Court of Protection at relevant meetings, provide guidance on procedures for deceased clients, and report on cases to the Office of the Public Guardian. Additionally, you will offer guidance and training to staff and perform other duties as required.
