What the Job Involves
The job involves operating within the Family Help environment to ensure the Council meets its statutory obligations to safeguard children. You will investigate and manage risk, support early help interventions, conduct risk assessments, and manage complex caseloads. The role also involves preparing written statements for court hearings, engaging in risk management policies, and applying the Working Together Framework to promote optimal outcomes. You will collaboratively work with internal and external colleagues, model effective communication, ensure high-quality report submissions, and maintain professional development. There is also a focus on innovative best practices in workforce development and resource optimization. Additionally, you will contribute to performance management, quality assurance frameworks, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
