Who You Are
You are a compassionate and experienced social worker with at least five years post-qualifying experience. Your expertise lies in applying various social work theories and models to improve outcomes for children and their families. You have a proven record in managing complex caseloads, chairing multi-agency meetings, and achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to effectively interact with children, families, and professionals. You are passionate about delivering high-quality services and interventions, and have essential court experience.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker in the Children Services Locality Team, you will be part of the Family Help team. Your role involves supporting children from assessment onwards, building meaningful relationships with families, and implementing ambitious interventions. You will focus on timely support to minimize the entry of children into local authority care. You will split your working time between home and various CBC offices, attending office locations as necessary to fulfill your duties, in line with the hybrid contract.
