Your leadership skills ensure the effective chairing of multi-agency meetings, and you possess a strong knowledge of child protection legislation and best practices.
What the Job Involves
The role involves implementing and embedding a revised approach to Child Protection Conferencing, based on the Signs of Safety model. You will ensure that the views of children and young people are integral to CP and LAC reviews. Chairing multi-agency looked-after children reviews and child protection conferences is a key responsibility, along with providing specialist consultation and quality assurance. You will be responsible for decision-making at conferences and reviews, ensuring child-centered and outcome-focused plans are developed. Additionally, you will create and maintain relationships with partners, conduct statutory reviews, and monitor performance to enhance the well-being of children.
