Who You Are
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Health Advisor with a strong track record of clinical and operational excellence. You should have a customer, performance, and solution-focused attitude; ideally, you are OH qualified and preferably NMC part 3 registered. You have extensive experience in managing your own case load and believe in the proactive benefits occupational health can bring to an organization. You are also able to manage your workload autonomously with the flexibility to work from home, while still being part of a close-knit team.
What the Job Involves
As an Occupational Health Advisor at North Yorkshire Council’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service, you will join a team of dedicated professionals. Led by the Senior OH Adviser – Clinical Manager, this role involves delivering occupational health services, health promotion activities, and health surveillance programs to staff and managers across the Council, including Schools & Academies and external contracts. You will be responsible for self-managing your workload and contributing to effective case management, delivering high-standard advice that leads to positive outcomes. The position offers flexible part-time hours, between 15-20 hours a week.
