Who You Are
We are looking for a highly organised, efficient, and motivated individual to provide support to the Director of Law & Governance and be part of the Executive Support Team in the Chief Executive’s Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and organisational skills, be adept at managing their own workload and using their initiative, have excellent communication skills, and be a good team player able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Flexibility to ensure office coverage and the ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment are essential.
What the Job Involves
You will be responsible for providing confidential, high-quality administrative, secretarial, and PA support to the Director of Law & Governance. Key responsibilities include managing correspondence, maintaining divisional records, diary management, organizing travel and meetings, preparing meeting papers, taking minutes, and providing general administrative tasks to ensure smooth department operations. You will communicate with a range of officers across the Council, Councillors, colleagues in all departments, partner agencies, and support other Personal Assistants when needed.
