Who You Are
As a Practice Manager with experience in Mental Health and AMHP, you will have the ability to manage and professionally supervise a team of qualified and support staff. You have a background in social work and mental health, with a capability to handle complex casework and a commitment to delivering high-quality and legally compliant social care practices. You are adept at liaising with external and internal partners, managing challenging behaviours, and communicating with diverse audiences in challenging situations.
What the Job Involves
This role requires you to manage, supervise, and support a team, ensuring high-quality service delivery that aligns with legal and professional standards. Your responsibilities include conducting social care assessments, developing support plans, supervising staff with complex caseloads, and taking on a Duty Lead role. You will work closely with adults and older individuals, potentially in high-stakes situations impacting their wellbeing. Additionally, you will represent the Council at multi-agency meetings and maintain critical working relationships with various agencies.

- Significant post-qualifying experience in social work and mental health
