You are an experienced and committed social work professional with a focus on learning difficulties. You possess a robust understanding of social work practices, risk management, and the legislative frameworks surrounding adult social care. You are a natural leader capable of guiding and mentoring a team while maintaining high standards of practice and client-focused solutions.

What the Job Involves

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will manage operational services within a specified locality, providing high-quality leadership to ensure effective social work practice. Your role includes supporting adults to achieve independence, preventing hospital admissions, and ensuring the delivery of services aligned with The Care Act principles. You will manage complex cases, supervise and appraise staff, and contribute to service development through performance monitoring, quality improvement, and innovative practice. Additionally, you will work closely with Service Managers to build high-performing teams, manage budgets, and drive local and national service enhancements.
