What the Job Involves
This is an exciting opportunity to join Wirral Council as an Advanced Practitioner (Adults) in our Adult Social Care service, leading and championing high-quality practice across safeguarding, adult protection, and complex casework. The role involves supporting people with assessment and evaluation to ensure they are accessing appropriate funding streams. You will work as part of a team with three new Commissioning and Contracts colleagues to review applications for funding, offer best practice advice, and oversee panel arrangements. Additional responsibilities include working closely with Legal Services, monitoring risk, and collaborating with providers on case management best practices.
