What the Job Involves
This role involves leading and managing day-to-day housing improvement operations within the borough, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services to customers. You will manage case loads, enforce actions against disrepair and energy deficiencies, undertake HMO licensing, and address environmental health concerns in private sector housing. The position also requires overseeing drainage management, monitoring empty dwellings, coordinating inspections, supervising technical staff, and providing expert advice within the council and to the public.
