Role
Locality-Based Multi-Disciplinary Team. The OT will be working across the clusters to support Discharge to Assess referrals Caseload: Approximately 4 cases allocated per week Case Complexity: A mix of complex and standard Occupational Therapy (OT) cases Essential Requirements and Responsibilities: Specialist Knowledge and Skills Demonstrate expertise in specialist seating, manual handling equipment, and both simple and complex adaptations. Holistic Assessment and Support Planning Proven experience in conducting complex, person-centred OT assessments, support planning, and reviews for individuals with diverse health conditions and their carers. Legal and Legislative Understanding Sound knowledge of the legal social care framework and relevant housing legislation. Case Management Ability to manage, plan, prioritise, and progress complex cases independently and effectively. Equipment Assessment and Training Skilled in assessing for and recommending both simple and complex equipment, evaluating effectiveness, and providing training to ensure safe use in line with legislation, policy, and best practice guidelines. Essential Experience and Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of specialist equipment, adaptations, and manual handling. Ability to work autonomously, with strong prioritisation and workload management skills. Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
A recognised professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the HCPC. Additional Information: Interview Availability: As soon as possible Why Join Redbridge?
