Role

Organisational Information Responsible to: The postholder will work within the HRWOD Service. Key relationships / Functional links with: The role will involve working closely with HR colleagues, workforce teams and managers across the organisation. Main Purpose of Job: To provide administrative and clerical support to HRWOD as part of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR), supporting Nottinghamshire County Council’s preparation for organisational change. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / KRA: To work to defined business standards, processes and timescales to undertake administrative tasks relating to workforce and employee records, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. To support the cleansing and updating of establishment lists across Nottinghamshire County Council, and to provide advice and guidance to stakeholders, business partners and others in relation to business processes. To validate workforce data, including employee contracts, job descriptions, and job evaluation method information, ensuring records are complete, current and consistent. To support the identification of critical roles, single points of failure (SPOFs) and immediate business continuity risks, escalating findings to the appropriate manager. To assist with the assessment of HR capacity to maintain business-as-usual (BAU) activity while supporting LGR preparation work. To support checks relating to equal pay status, flagging potential risks or data issues to managers for further review. To handle sensitive personal and employment data in line with GDPR, information governance requirements and Council policies. For the accuracy, completeness and consistency of workforce and establishment information processed. For ensuring that agreed processes, data protection requirements and confidentiality standards are followed. To ensure that correct processes are being followed and to alert the appropriate manager to ensure compliance. To identify and escalate risks relating to missing information, workforce vulnerabilities, or data inconsistencies promptly and appropriately. ensure that financial regulations are followed. To work efficiently and flexibly to support LGR preparation activity and HR business – as – usual priorities. Job Activities: The post holder will perform any duty or task that is appropriate for the role described.
