You are a passionate and customer-focused individual with experience in a busy Customer Care or Customer Service Centre environment. While experience in a social care setting is preferred, it is not essential as full training will be provided. You possess excellent communication skills and have a strong ability to handle complex, sensitive, and emotive scenarios with professionalism. Your typing and IT skills are excellent, enabling you to efficiently manage customer interactions.
What the Job Involves
As a Customer Service Advisor in the Adult Care Team at Lincolnshire County Council, you will work at the Customer Service Centre in Lincoln. Your role involves using a strength-based approach to enable positive changes in people's lives by managing contacts via telephone and email. These interactions involve providing information and advice, reporting safeguarding concerns, and facilitating access to services such as Adult Care, Lincolnshire Carer Service, and the Wellbeing Service. The job requires flexibility in working hours between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and includes a full induction and ongoing relevant training.
