What the job involves
This role involves managing a complex and varied caseload in adult social care, focusing on safeguarding and support planning. You will conduct assessments, co-design support plans, and ensure regular monitoring and reviews. The position requires collaborating with health and other agencies, leading safeguarding enquiries, and representing the department in multi-disciplinary forums. As a social worker, you will also provide expert advice, assist in professional learning and development, and contribute to practice improvements. The role involves occasional duties outside standard hours and includes financial management responsibilities.
