Who You Are

You are a compassionate and dedicated social worker committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You hold the necessary qualifications and registration, and you have experience working in social care within a multi-disciplinary setting. You are skilled at building trusting relationships and are familiar with advocacy and therapeutic practices. You are committed to utilizing your knowledge and skills to ensure the safety and well-being of children, through collaboration with families and partner agencies.

What the job involves

This role involves providing statutory services for children in need, those subject to child protection plans, and those undergoing legal processes. You will carry out assessments of need and risk, manage a varied caseload, and develop evidence-based care plans. You'll work closely with multi-agency partners, prepare reports, maintain high-quality records, and promote equality and rights through anti-discriminatory practice. Additional responsibilities include participating in professional development and service initiatives.
