Who You Are
You are a self-motivated individual with good time-keeping and organizational skills. You have excellent communication skills to effectively engage with the public and handle inquiries. Confidence in handling cash/card transactions is essential, and you ideally possess a full UK driving license and DBS certificate, though these are not mandatory.
What the Job Involves
Your core duty as a seasonal country park warden will be to run and maintain the seasonal facilities at Coate Water Country Park, including the Pitch & Putt kiosk and course, the crazy golf course, and The Splash Park. Responsibilities include selling tickets, course maintenance, water quality checks, cleaning, and engaging with the public. You may also assist with wider tasks such as cleaning, emptying bins, and vegetation management when core duties are covered. The role involves weekend and bank holiday work, with bank holidays compensated by a day in lieu.
