What the Job Involves
The role is based at the Civic Centre in Newport and involves assessing and reviewing adults with learning disabilities. You will apply strengths-based and person-centred approaches in your practice. The position requires working across various pathways, including front door, community, or hospital discharge pathways. You will manage competing demands of a caseload while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, departmental policies, and regulations related to the protection of vulnerable adults. Commitment to personal and professional development, as well as achieving positive outcomes for individuals and carers, is essential.
