Who You Are
You are a responsible individual dedicated to providing a safe and clean environment at council blocks and estates. You possess strong communication skills for interacting with residents and contractors, have a keen eye for detail in maintaining cleanliness, and are capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Mandatory requirements include a clean driving license and the ability to work out of hours.
What the job involves
The Mobile Estate Services Warden ensures that housing estates across the Borough are kept tidy, clean, and safe. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high cleaning standards in communal areas, performing basic ground maintenance, monitoring communal utilities, and addressing any health and safety issues. As the first point of contact for residents on estates, you must also manage emergency situations and escalate relevant concerns to the Estate Services Team Leader. You will liaise with contractors for repair access and provide support for estate inspections and resident events. The job requires participation in out-of-hours cycles every third week to address emergencies such as fire alarms and lift issues.
