Role

Who You Are

An experienced EHCP Co-ordinator, you are educated to degree level and possess detailed knowledge of the Children & Families Act 2014, the SENDIST Tribunal procedure, and SEN issues. You have a background in working with children/young people with special educational needs and disabilities and are skilled in leading multiagency meetings and partnership working. Your communication skills, both oral and written, are strong, and you hold good organisational and IT skills.

What the Job Involves

You will act as the main point of contact for parents/carers and young people in the EHC assessment process. As an EHCP Co-ordinator, you'll coordinate assessments for children and young people aged 0-25, ensuring that all voices are included and recorded. You'll liaise with families, schools, and service providers to guarantee the statutory timeline is met, draft and review EHC plans, and support the Council in SEND tribunals. You'll contribute strategically to developing SEN policy and manage Council records while organizing tasks around shifting priorities and mitigating risks.
