You have strong analytical skills, the ability to manage a complex caseload, and are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of individuals. You have a self-reliant and resilient nature, able to handle difficult situations calmly, and are willing to adapt to change.

What the Job Involves

As a Social Worker in Adult Services, you will be responsible for conducting risk and care needs assessments for service users and carers, formulating care plans, and ensuring their implementation and review. You will manage a caseload, making ongoing assessments and engaging with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Your role will involve statutory duties, crisis management, report preparation, and collaborative working with external agencies to deliver quality care services. You will also contribute to service development and innovation, support other professionals, and provide regular supervision to less experienced staff.
